The legendary rock band Aerosmith has regrettably postponed their Indianapolis concert, which was part of their farewell tour named “Peace Out.” The concert was initially scheduled for Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse but has now been deferred along with the remainder of the 2023 tour dates, with rescheduled dates to be announced as soon as they become available.

The postponement comes in the wake of an unfortunate injury sustained by Aerosmith’s iconic lead singer, Steven Tyler. During a performance, Tyler suffered vocal cord injuries, leading to a doctor’s order mandating a 30-day rest period for the singer to recover. This medical setback necessitated the postponement of several concerts on their farewell tour, marking a poignant pause in the band’s final bow to their fans across various venues.

This isn’t the first time the “Peace Out” tour has faced rescheduling. Previously, there had been a postponement, making this the second time the tour dates are being shifted.

This time, the postponement extends to the year 2024, including the Indianapolis concert, as the band aims to ensure the well-being of its members while upholding the promise of a memorable farewell to their fans.
