Niyyah Coffee is getting ready to expand into one of downtown Indianapolis’ most visible pedestrian areas.

The local coffee brand is preparing a new shop at 747 N. College Ave., near the busy Mass Ave and College Avenue intersection, according to Axios Indianapolis. The space was formerly occupied by Peace Water Winery.

The location would become Niyyah’s fourth Indianapolis-area shop and add another cafe option to a corridor already known for restaurants, bars, small businesses and heavy foot traffic.

Niyyah is also notable as a deaf-owned coffee business. Its signature drinks include the zebra mocha, a white-and-dark chocolate drink that has helped build the brand’s local following.

An exact opening date has not been announced publicly. Recent updates suggest the space is nearing completion, so coffee drinkers should watch Niyyah’s social channels for final opening details.
