Chicago blackened dark-wave band Bleached Cross is bringing its heavy, atmospheric sound to Indianapolis this summer.

The band’s newly announced North American tour with Snag will begin August 4 in Indianapolis, giving local fans the first chance to hear material from Bleached Cross’ forthcoming album, Wrath, live on the road.

The announcement comes as Bleached Cross shared its new single “Blood Moon,” the final preview of Wrath, which is set for release July 24 via New Morality Zine. The track leans into the band’s blend of post-punk, dark wave, screamo and goth-inflected heaviness, pairing shimmering guitars and synths with a cathartic, emotionally loaded finish.

According to the band, “Blood Moon” explores themes of love, devotion, fate and loss, fitting with Wrath’s broader focus on grief, guilt and preserving love in the shadow of death.

Bleached Cross has earned praise from outlets including No Echo, CVLT Nation and Post-Punk.com for its ominous and confrontational sound, and the upcoming Indianapolis stop gives the band a fittingly intense starting point for its next chapter.

Additional venue and ticket details should be announced through the band’s official channels.
